At Home in a Treehouse

During the COVID pandemic, Danny Harris built a 2 1/2 story treehouse on his property in Goodlettsville, TN.

A decade ago, Danny left a successful career in the IT world to pursue one of his passions – fixing and building things. One of the structures he’s especially proud of is a 2 1/2 story treehouse he built during the pandemic on his property in Goodlettsville, TN. Wired for electricity and Wi-Fi, equipped with indoor plumbing (including a kitchen sink and shower), and featuring a relaxing deck envied by local birds and squirrels alike, the treehouse looks like it belongs on the pages of Southern Living or Architectural Digest. For now, it’s a cherished private retreat for Danny and his long-time partner.
